Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Tracey Archambault and I've been a lifelong resident of Seekonk. I have a BA and masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I've taught grades K,1,2,3, and was a DI instructor. Of course my favorite grade is K :o) As a child I also attended Martin School, as did my 5 children. My husband Bob and I have 4 boys and a girl. Bobby is my oldest, then its Kaila, Cody, and my twins Jesse and Jarrett. I love to read, make puzzles, do word searches, go on family vacations, mow the lawn, and swim in our pool. My favorite foods are zucchini bread, calamari from the Cheesecake Factory, blueberry muffins, and apple pie, (blueberry pie is a close 2nd :o). I like the colors teal and lavender. My favorite number is 5 (always has been, maybe that's why I had 5 children). My favorite children's movies are Finding Nemo and Ice Age. I LOVE..love...love Pete the Cat! I am a big Red Sox and Patriots fan, I really didn't have a choice living with so many boys and having 3 big brothers. Finally my favorite season is the fall. I just love the colors of the leaves, the smells, the food, and all the fun activities like apple picking and going to 4 Town Farm to get my pumpkins. I'm very excited to get to know you this year and to learn more about your favorites!
Meet Mrs. Andrade, Mrs. A.'s instructional aide and helper.
My name is Lorrie Andrade and I am very excited to be back working with Kindergarten students. Its my most favorite place to be. I have worked at Martin for the last 18 years where I started in Kindergarten then moved to the upper grades assisting with grades 3 - 5 in special education. I too was raised in Seekonk, then lived a few other places and returned here to raise my own three children. I am married to Alan and together we have three grown adult daughters, Kelsey, McKayla, and Katelyn. My husband and I are empty nesters now who enjoy traveling, country concerts, and time with family and friends. In my free time, you might see me with my camera where I have begun taking on newborn and family portrait photography. I also enjoy the beach so summer is my favorite time of the year. I'm an avid Patriot's, Red Sox, and NASCAR fan. I love crafting, party planning and decorating my farmhouse. My husband and I recently bought a renovated 1880 farmhouse close to Four Town Farm with plenty of rooms for when my kids return on weekends to visit. My favorite foods are shrimp and ice cream. I have 3 favorite colors; pink, purple, and blue, which leads me to my favorite number three. Many wonderful things for me have been connected with the number three including my three daughters! Lastly, my favorite fur ball is my 3 year old Shitzu, Milo! I'm very excited to be back working and playing with Kindergarteners and look forward to getting to know yours this year!
